THEATRE / DINING PACKAGE

Effective June 16 through October 17, 2010, the Country House will feature a THEATRE / DINING Package with a 3 night stay for two and tickets for Peninsula Players, America’s oldest Professional Resident Summer Theatre since 1935, set on the shores of the bay of Green Bay, the “theatre in the garden” in a new $7,000,000 back stage and audience pavilion and tickets for American Folklore Theatre, original plays about American/Wisconsin folk culture by professional actors under the stars at Peninsula State Park.
A gourmet box dinner with various choices of appetizer, salad, sandwich and dessert for two is provided by Top Shelf Cafe and Gourmet to enjoy while watching the sunset before the Peninsula Players performance. Visit our Theatre/Dining Menu page to pick your selections and call 920-854-5040, Top Shelf Cafe and Gourmet, if you have any questions and to place your order. The WI Dept of AFT is not allowing wine or other alcoholic beverages to be brought on to the Players grounds but beverages can be purchased at the Players bar located in the garden. Dinner with a soup and salad bar with a 1/2 carafe of wine is provided at the Mink River Basin or a dinner for two with anything on the menu with a retail value of up to $40 at Alexander’s Restaurant, Hwy 57, north of Fish Creek, either before or after the American Folklore Theatre performance. DOOR COUNTY HALF MARATHON LODGING PACKAGE

The third annual Door County Half Marathon and Nicolet Bay 5K Fun Run will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010. The entire half marathon and 5K run takes place on paved surfaces within Peninsula State Park. For more information on the run and to register, visit Door County Half Marathon.
The Country House Resort is a member of Classic Inns & Resorts of Door County, a Supporting Sponsor of this event.

Stay 2 or more nights in any room or suite at the Country House Resort, Sister Bay, about 4 miles from Peninsual State Park, during the Half Marathon, April 30 thru May 1, 2010, and the Country House will reimburse you for your Registration Fee. (One reimbursement per room and a copy of the registration must be submitted to the Country House for a credit against room charges.)

Available April 30 thru May 1, 2010. A member of the lodging party must be registered for the Door County Half Marathon or Nicolet Bay 5K Fun Run taking place on Saturday, May 1, 2010 in Peninsula State park.

SEGWAY PARK TOUR/ DINING/ 3 NIGHT PACKAGE

Enjoy three nights lodging for two in a room or suite, some with 2 person whirlpools, 2 person body spray showers and fireplaces, most with a private waterview balcony. There is also a European-style buffet breakfast.

Two tickets for the Segway Tour, Peninsula State Park, Ephraim. The tour consists of a lesson of approximately 30 to 45 minutes and a 1 1/2 hour tour, traveling up and down the hills through the park, stopping at several overlooks that give you magnificent views of the Bay of Green Bay and Horseshoe Island. Groups are limited to 8 people.

Dinner for two. Dinner is served at the Mink River Basin, Ellison Bay, with a 1/2 carafe of wine and a soup/salad bar or at
Alexander’s Restaurant, north of Fish Creek, with a retail value of up to $40 and can include anything on the menu including alcoholic beverages.
